Reader's comment: What to Wear for the Rest of Your Life

Kim, The book went to bed with me last night. It's wonderful!
A very good read, you just want to know what's on the next page. Brilliant idea: Feel Good Closet. Lots of good tips and an empathetic, witty voice. Bette

Hi Kim,
I just wanted to tell you that your book is wonderful. I'm so glad you wrote this, finally a book for women like me who have been invaded by the alien. :) I can relate to the things that have happened to you, and the advice you give on learning to live with a body that suddenly seems to want to go its own way, not yours. After all I live in L.A. which has got to be the "thin is in" fashion capital of the world where women my age tend to hire personal trainers and plastic surgeons by the boatload. I choose not to go that route, but still it pains me when the salesgirl blithely tells me, "Oh, I'm so glad you found something that fits. Even the size 0 petite swims on me!" And I remember that I used to have the same complaint. Auugghh!

Wishing you success in all your ventures and I hope I'll see more books from you in the future. Let me know if you're ever in Los Angeles for a book signing or other event and I'll drop by to say hi.

Have a great weekend, Myra

Hi Kim,
I had to tell you that I found this leather jacket in my closet that i have not been wearing because it just didn't feel right. I looked at it for awhile and decided to take off the belt loops and not wear the belt with it, and now it is one of my favorites. This is because of your book and how you make us look at things differently and wear things in a new way. I keep wanting to go into my closet and find more " new/old" favorites. Thanks, Marylyn
